Android Studio Warning: SOLVED Your app currently targets API level 29 and must target at least API level 30 to ensure it is built on the latest APIs optimized for security and performance. Change your app’s target API level to at least 30. solution for Cordova project

Are you facing this issue while uploading your cordova project’s apk or abb file in play console? and not yet found any solution? Let’s try this one and see it it fixes your issue.

1. First go to gradle.properties and

Find: cdvTargetSdkVersion=29
Change it To: cdvTargetSdkVersion=30

2. Go to your config.xml:

Find:

<preference name=“android-minSdkVersion” value=“19” />
<preference name=“android-targetSdkVersion” value=“29” />

Change it to

<preference name=“android-minSdkVersion” value=“19” />
<preference name=“android-targetSdkVersion” value=“30” />

3. Go to app folder open file build.gradle and find:

compileSdkVersion 29
buildToolsVersion ‘29.0.3’
Now change it to:

compileSdkVersion 30
buildToolsVersion ‘30.0.3’
4. Go to CordovaLib folder inside the folder open file build.gradle and find:

targetSdkVersion 29

minSdkVersion 19

Change it to:

targetSdkVersion 30

minSdkVersion 19

5. In the same file find:

compileSdkVersion 29
buildToolsVersion ‘29.0.3’

Change it to:

compileSdkVersion 30
buildToolsVersion ‘30.0.3’
